Create a new account

Creating an account is easy. There are three simple steps, which only take a few minutes to complete.

  • Step 1 - Check and confirm your eligibility for an individual Skills Passport account.
  • Step 2 - Submit some basic personal details.
  • Step 3 - Read and accept the Basic User Terms and Privacy Policy.

When you have completed these three steps, your account will be registered and your log in details e-mailed to you. The first time you log in to the system, you will prompted to pay the £40 annual fee. Once you have paid the fee, you can start using the Skills Passport immediately.

To find out more about the Skills Passport, please return to the Home page at www.ns4p.co.uk.

Before you create an account

In order to create an account you will need to meet certain criteria. Why? There are two types of users within the NS4P system, an employer and an individual user. Employer accounts are created in a different way to individual users and are set up by the National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN). If you have arrived at this page and you are an employer or an employee of an organisation operating within the nuclear industry you are NOT eligible to create an account in this way. If you are an individual who is self-employed, working as an agency worker, unemployed or working as an employee in a non-nuclear sector then you are eligible to create an account (more information on each of these categories is provided in Step 1).

During the account creation process you will be asked for the following information:

  • The e-mail address which you would like to register the account with and have your log in details e-mailed to. Once an account is created you can amend the e-mail details at any time.
  • Your National Insurance Number or equivalent national identifier.

The first time you log in to the system you will be prompted to pay the £40 NS4P system annual fee. You can pay using the following credit or debit cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard and Maestro.
